5 Holiday Attractions We’d Love to Drive You To

Let’s be honest, nobody wants to drive in the snow…

Sure, doing donuts in your local parking lot can be fun on occasion, but nothing beats the warm comfort of a preheated, comfortable cruise in the back of a limo. Your destination? We’ve got a few holiday attractions you won’t want to miss out on this year.

1) ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo

Lincoln Park Zoo’s holiday light spectacular brings with it even more than usual this time around. Hop aboard the zoo’s brand-new Lionel Train Adventure, a 28-passenger train that takes you for a spin around the park, or test out the new ice skating rink, your choice. Of course, you could always bask in the glow of the two million lights that illuminate every square inch of the zoo as well. The best part? It’s free.

2) Christkindlmarket Chicago

Now in its 20th year, Christkindlmarket Chicago is the city’s annual open-air Christmas celebration. Located at Daley Plaza, the market comes equipped with traditional German goods, food, hot spiced wine, and the world-famous boot shaped-mugs. Really though, the mugs are a big deal. Fill it with some hot, spiced Gluhwein and have some fun out there. Your designated driver is right here.

3) Millennium Park

Aside from the usual reasons to attend to Chicago’s great tourist draw, the city has moved their official Christmas Tree to the park this year. With the completion of the nearby Maggie Daley Park and its skating ribbon, the area will become a massive hotspot among the frigid weather. It has its own skating rink and restaurant as well.

4) Christmas Around the World at the Museum of Science and Industry

Now in its 74th year, Christmas Around the World is one of the best and brightest annual holiday exhibits. With over 50 trees surrounding the 45-foot goliath known as the Grand Tree, your eyes will have a hard time taking in all of the winter wonder that surrounds you. This year’s theme: Robot Revolution, the same as that of the Museum’s temporary exhibit.

5) Macy’s on State

With SantaLand, windows, shopping (and window shopping), Macy’s has it all. This year’s windows are titled Santa’s Journey to the Stars, and they follow the story of a young boy named Alex. Alex receives a telescope with the power to travel between planets to witness their Christmas festivities. He encounters many unusual characters along the way, though he eventually returns in time for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

If you’re looking to get out this holiday season, don’t bother scraping off your car and making travel plans. M&M Limousine has got you covered.
